They volunteered to put their lives on the line to serve and defend their country and protect the freedoms and liberties of their fellow citizens. In doing so they gave their all in ferocious combat operations abroad that leave them with broken minds and broken limbs, and others brought home in body bags that end up in the vast US military cemeteries with their stilled bones interred with full military honors.
